The first in a series of limited run patches!
This patch references the Russian Criminal Tattoo Encyclopedia for the basis of it's artwork. The Encyclopedia series was written by a guard who worked in the Russian Gulag system and includes a plethora of hand-drawn criminal tattoos. The cyrillic text on the patch translates to "It's hard to live as a stool-pidgeon in the world" and the skull pierced by a dagger is a common motif in criminal tattoos. This tattoo was taken from a man convicted of a double homicide.
The patch is roughly 2×3 inches at its widest and longest points, respectively. This series will be strictly limited to 50 patches per design, and each patch will be accompanied by a numbered art card featuring flash of the original design and a short description including history on the design.
These patches were designed and produced in the United States.
